April 19, 2004 Perryton, Texas Tornadoes

Simon, Lela and I (Jim) saw two large wedge tornadoes. They were located about 10 miles south of Perryton, Texas a couple miles west of the state highway, or about 15 miles east northeast of Spearman, Texas. Both tornadoes were undercut by outflow and dissipated much quicker than they would have had the outflow not disrupted the updraft. The toradoes were on the ground between 8:05pm and 8:20pm.
