Felix finished an eyewall replacement cycle and restrengthened into a Catagory 5 Hurricane during the process of making landfall on the Northeastern coast of Nicaragua! Heavy rain will cause landslides and severe flooding and winds in the eyewall of Felix will be at or above 160mph on the coast! Stormgasm.com continues to monitor powerful Catagory 5 Hurricane Felix. Hurricane Felix is the second Catagory 5 storm of the 2007 Atlantic Hurricane Season! At 11pm EDT on Sunday September 2nd, 2007 Hurricane Felix had a central pressure of approximately 930mb and sustained maximum winds equal to or greater than 165mph!
